HI! I’m CODY.

I’m based in Virginia and came of age during the dawn of the internet, playing live shows and creating digital media since my youth in the early 2000s.

Combining my passions for music production, typography, character design, and both graphic and motion design, I’ve had the opportunity to work on viral content, Netflix specials, and music videos for artists like Ariana Grande, Will Smith, Nicki Minaj, T-Pain, The Lonely Island, Lil Nas X, Marshmello, Demi Lovato, Tiësto, Tate McRae, Troye Sivan, and more.

Alongside client work, I create design kits and YouTube tutorials that teach how to capture specific retro aesthetics. This led me to build and host an online design community on Discord, where thousands of emerging artists collaborate, learn, and share their creations.

Throughout the 2000s and 2010s, I produced and performed my own music with fellow internet artists across the country. These days, my focus is on teaching a motion design course I developed at Radford University, where I lecture each fall semester.

Outside of the classroom, I’m a lifelong vintage toy collector bringing my first original toyline, my mascot Googiverse to life — blending the wild neon energy of late-80s and early-90s action figures with the bold, graffiti-inspired style of 2000s designer vinyl toys.
